"Who do I donate to?"
You can designate your donated items to the following charities/organizations here at The Big Thrift Store (during store hours* ONLY please):
Monday - Saturday 10:00am - 6:00pm
A T-STEM academy that allows students to further their education by offering hands-on learning and focusing on science, mathematics, engineering and technology. By Donating your items to Waxahachie Global High PTO, you help the PTO save up for scholarships for graduating students. "What kinda stuff can I donate?"
Here is a list of items we do or do not take, that way, you know what to bring when you decide to clean out your garage and get rid of unwanted stuff.
Items we accept:
Toys, furniture, clothing, electronics, and almost anything that is clean and lightly used.
Items we DO NOT accept:
Stained clothing or furniture, outdated computer monitors or tube TVs, food items, unsanitary items, etc. The general rule being, "If you yourself wouldn't buy that item in it's current condition, we will not accept it."

Ellis County SPCA
Also known as the Ellis County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Ellis County SPCA is located in Waxahachie, TX and provides an animal care center for unwanted animals and offers adoption for pets. They also encourage responsible pet ownership. EC SPCA is a private non-profit 501(c) (3) organization. Located in Ellis County between Waxahachie and Midlothian, Reins of Life offers equine-assisted activities for those with special needs. It is believed that, through programs such as Reins of Life, those with special needs can experience improved mental or emotional health, social pleasure, increased balance and circulation, and even relief from symptoms.
